“I Died. And I Felt the Most Peace, the Most Love.”
Jim Caviezel was struck by lightning while playing Jesus, had two major heart surgeries, and says he died in intensive care. He remembers what he found there: “the most peace, the most love.” On Going Rogue, he tells Lara Logan what that moment showed him, and how it shaped everything after.
He goes behind the scenes of The Passion of the Christ and explains why the man who played Jesus agreed to play Herod, one of history’s most notorious villains, in an upcoming film. He also talks about Ghost Soldier, an action film about a veteran defending a family’s land and water rights. And he discusses Dark Horse, his film about Jair Bolsonaro, which he says was blocked from release in Brazil.
